The polls are closed, the votes are in, and Orville Redenbacher is a clear winner in this year's favorite icon competition on the Madison Avenue Advertising Walk of Fame in New York City.

Orville Redenbacher's first commercial aired in 1976. The impression that Orville made on the hearts and minds of Americans everywhere was so memorable, even now, they have chosen him as their favorite brand icon.
